RFK Camp Positions

There are many ways you can get involved. Below you will find explanations of how you can serve the kids in this area. Please join us in making moments matter!

Camp Counselors

For every counselor willing to spend the entire week at camp, another camper is able to attend. Training is mandatory. Counselors arrive at camp the day before the campers to prepare the cabins and welcome the campers as they arrive. Each counselor is responsible for two campers in order to provide the very best care for our campers. One assistant counselor works with every two regular counselors.

Other Camp Staff

Other Camp Staff support the Counselors and Campers throughout their week at Camp. There are various roles such as Activity Coordinator, Memory Keeper (Photographer), Evening Support, Storytime Reader, etc. Training is mandatory.

Registration Helpers

These people are one of the first faces a Camper sees when attending our Camp. Volunteering only on Monday morning to help register each Camper. There is also a spot to help with Camper luggage by tagging their bag prior to Camp.

Special Events Support

Special Events Support helps Camp Staff with specific events during the week. This may be at the Girls’ Gala, Boys’ Bash, Birthday Party (either wrapping gifts or setup party), or Carnival assistance.

Welcome Home Dinner Cooks and Servers

At the end of the long, hard week serving, our Camp Staff return to the Sponsor Church for a Welcome Home Dinner to debrief. We would love to have a team of cooks and servers to allow the team to relax a little while having a hot meal before heading home.

Thank You…

for helping the neglected, abused, and abandoned children enjoy a week of unconditional love and acceptance.  Your gift of time, talent, or money can help change the lives of these hurting children.  No donation of time or financial support is too small to make a big difference!
